Social Exclusion Task Force

Government Task Force set up in June 2006 to replace the Social Exclusion Unit. Its mission is to extend the opportunities enjoyed by the vast majority of people in the UK today to those whose lives have been characterised by deprivation and exclusion. Works closely with all Government departments to ensure that the needs of the most socially excluded are addressed.
