Researching Homelessness and Rough Sleeping in the Scottish Context

An article examining methodological and personal issues associated with researching homelessness, particularly in the Scottish context. The paper looks at the political and social construction of statistics on homelessness, and the limitations of official data sources. It concludes that research can make a real contribution to understanding and alleviating homelessness.
