Schizophrenia in Homeless Persons: A Systematic Review of the Literature

Review of international literature on the prevalence of schizophrenia among homeless people. Incidence was found to be ten times the rate among housed people, and highest in younger people, single women and the long-term homeless. Half of those with schizophrenia were not receiving treatment.
