Summary of research study on the accommodation, advice and support options for ex-offenders in Northern Ireland. Concludes that having secure accommodation upon release from prison can reduce re-offending by 20%. Recommends a multi-agency approach, the development of practical support both within prison and on release, and further research into accommodation for female offenders, particularly those with addiction problems.
