London's Homelessness Sector: Results of the State of the Sector Survey

Report on homelessness service providers in London. Based on a survey of organisations providing hostel, supported housing, day centre, floating support, advice and outreach services across 33 London boroughs. Looks at where services are located and delivered, finances, staffing and clients. Findings include that the sector in London has about 160 organisations with a turnover of £240 million a year, and 4,500 staff and over 15,000 volunteers. Other findings include statistics on the size of service providers and the need for more data on the number and range of service users.
