Homeless Women: Still Being Failed Yet Striving to Survive

Report of research conducted amongst 160 single homeless women across England. The report, published to mark the 40 year annivesary of the release of 'Cathy Come Home', highlights the traumatic homelessness situations and experiences that women continue to face. Calls for improvements and changes to local authority homelessness assessments, decisions and practices, and addresses the ways in which current services are not sensitised to the needs of women.
