An article which looks at a study measuring the prevalence of psychiatric disorders among parents and children in homeless families. A sample of homeless parents were interviewed within 2 weeks of admission to homeless centres in Birmingham, and compared with a sample of low income families who were not homeless. The results indicated that children in homeless families were more likely to have mental health problems than the comparison sample.
