Relationship breakdown

Many people lose their accommodation when their relationship ends with their spouse or partner. Legislation and case law covers the housing rights that married couples and cohabitants have whether they own or rent their accommodation. Relationship breakdown can also lead to young people facing homelessness when their parents split up.
