Winter shelters

In some areas of the country, temporary winter shelters are set up to provide emergency accommodation for homeless people during the winter months. Some winter shelters are set up by local church and community groups and are staffed by volunteers. Others have been set up and staffed by existing homelessness organisations and have received government funding.
