Study of Homeless Applicants

A study of all homeless applicants to the nine authorities used in this study, regardless of the final outcome of the applications. Identifies the housing circumstances and characteristics of applicants accepted as homeless to allow comparison with those not accepted. Examines what happens to applicants who are not accepted by the local authority, the proportion of those accepted as homeless who 'drop out' of the system before being permanently rehoused and the housing solutions they adopt.
