Foyers for Young People: Evaluation of a Pilot Initiative

Based on a French system, foyers offer hostel-type accommodation with jobsearch, training advice and social support to young people as they make the transition to living as independent adults. This evaluation looks at the setting up and operation of seven foyers. The report is aimed at agencies thinking of developing a foyer and policy makers and practitioners working in the areas of youth homelessness and unemployment.
