About the event

With rising numbers of people sleeping rough or facing life without a home, the services of homelessness and supported housing providers are needed more than ever.

This event will consider what it will take for everyone to be housed and what is needed to prevent and eradicate rough sleeping. By sharing current best practice and thinking, changes in legislation and policy and giving you the space to network with other homelessness and housing professionals, the conference will present you with advice and guidance to help you to tackle rough sleeping and homelessness locally.

As staff who work in supported housing, hostels, day centres and as part of outreach teams you are being asked to support individuals experiencing increasingly complex and diverse issues. Across the two days, this conference will provide you with new resources to be able to respond to these changing needs.

Under One Roof will cover a wide range of topics that affect accommodation, support and care provision. It will bring together supported housing and homelessness services and will feature different strands, tailored for leaders, managers and frontline workers.

The conference starts on Tuesday 3 July and runs until 4pm on Wednesday 4 July.

For Homeless Link’s members we will also be hosting Member Zone, our annual members meeting on the afternoon of Monday 2 July. This session is free to attend and will give you the inside track on Homeless Link, providing an overview of our new strategic plan and priorities for the next year.

For those who have further to travel or would like to be there, there is the option to stay at the hotel on the Monday evening and join us for dinner.

Social enterprise market place

Our social enterprise market place will showcase a wide variety of social enterprises that are being run around the country by homelessness and supported housing providers. If you are running a social enterprise and would like to take part, please contact me or read for more information.

Homeless Link Excellence Awards

Thank you to everyone who entered the Homeless Link Excellence Awards 2018. This is the first year that we have run these awards and we were really pleased to receive over 100 entries. It was inspiring to read about all of the innovative, impactful work that is occurring across the country.

The Awards Ceremony and Dinner will take place on Tuesday 3 July as part of the evening activities at this conference. The winner of each award category will receive a prize fund of £500, a trophy and a certificate. The runner-up and third placed entries will each receive a certificate.

Event booking and discounts

The full event runs from 10am on Tuesday 3 July to 4pm on Wednesday 4 July. Please use the form below to book your place and customise the event to suit your needs and budget.

If there are 3 or more of you who would like to attend, book as a group and get 10% off.

A booking on the 3 and 4 July includes your place at the event on the Tuesday and Wednesday, including all coffee breaks and lunch, plus dinner and accommodation on the 3rd and breakfast on the 4th.

If you book for the 2, 3 and 4 July you will join us on the evening of 2 July for dinner and hotel accommodation for a more relaxed start on the 3rd.

A one day only booking includes all conference materials, lunch and refreshments on the day you select.

In addition we are hosting Member Zone on the afternoon of Monday 2nd July. This session is free for Homeless Link members. Please add this to your booking if you want to join us.
